    Confession: I’ve felt a little haunted the last couple of weeks. Not over what I’ve done, but over what I didn’t do. I can argue that I already have a lot on my plate (truth), and that there already isn’t enough time in a day to get it all done for my own family (truth), or that I did nothing because I simply didn’t know what to do (truer words may have never been spoken).     How many of you started this New Year with a list of resolutions? I’m not one for ‘resolutions’ per-se, but I did wake up to the New Year with a renewed motivation. Specifically for my chase after The Lord. The honest (and ugly, if we’re being honest) truth is that life changed in a drastic way for me several months ago.  Things became beautifully complicated. Rather than moving in closer to Jesus, I’ve been going through the motions. The result? A soul left unfulfilled. And so, I’m taking an opportunity to pause and re-group…and get back to basics.
